Animation Sound
I feel very lucky to have been able to build a professional relationship with my friend Freddy Arenas. He is a great animator and throughout the years we have developed a very defined style of mixing moving images and sound.
Skadden Holiday card
This piece is my favorite of the whole bunch. The final result is a very organic mix of music, foley and sound design. It won Freddy and his producer Laura an ADC award.

MTV Indent
I love Freddy’s work in this animation so much. The Sound came out so easy and nice. It’s mostly the Juno synth at work. No way around it, if we wanted to make it feel just like back in the day.

Intercom
A very commercial commercial that I enjoyed working on. I has it all: score, sound design, sound effects, foley, stock music, VO, mixing effects, you name it.

HBO Docs
For this job we focused on using the score to set the mood and tried to be less melodic. For the sound effects, we were wondering how the action of bending glass would sound like, if it was physically possible. Then we tried to design it somehow, by reversing and changing the speed of the samples.

Cookpad
Another of Freddy’s animations I worked on. I used an OP-Z sequencer and sound loops for the music. Then I added sound effects to the details for the actions.

Surprised Pikachu
I did this animation myself. I made it using rubber stamps and ink, then I added sound to it. I also minted it, It’s available on Rarible.com as an NFT. It’s a very simple piece but I have a soft spot for Pikachu.
