Ernesto is a Sound Engineer and Music Producer based in New York City. He works professionally in Film Production as part of the Sound Department and in Post-production filling the roles of Sound Editor and Sound Designer. He has worked with many networks, studios, brands and filmmakers. From NBC, CBS/Viacom, MTV, A&E, Nowness, Ref29 to NFL, FujiFilm, Moncler, Fendi, Kidsuper amongst others. He is part of NYC Sound LLC, a crew of “Sound-guys” that has been operating for more than 30 years, formed by Donny Tam who has become his mentor.

A life dedicated to artistic expression through the blend of Music, Sound and Images. Ernesto was Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1985 to a family of visual artists and filmmakers. As a teenager he developed his skills in Music Production and Computer Music. Right after high school his band Todosantos quickly gained recognition in the art scene in his home town. Their mix of Electronica, Post-Punk and Video-Art in their performances, created an audiovisual experience that would become a recurrent theme in his career.

Todosantos got him to work with other artists such as Sunsplash, Dj Phran, Mpeach, Cardopusher, Dj Stareyes and Labels like Flamin’ Hotz, Second Hand Records and Trouble & Bass. This band influenced a whole generation of Venezuelan acts like Los Mesoneros, La Vida Boheme, Americania, Recordatorio and Arca. It was with Todosantos that Ernesto settled down in New York City in 2007. Touring throughout the country and internationally, sharing stages with the likes of Junior Senior, Yatch, Cut Copy, MIA, The Beastie Boys, Los Amigos Invisibles, Spank Rock and Benny Blanco, amongst others.

Ernesto is currently developing his Latin Urban music act Jentai. Experimenting with rhythms like Reggaeton, Dembow and Hip-Hop sponsored by Label/Collective Deprerreo.
